Wine
Domaine Naturaliste Rebus Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from the estate's sustainably farmed vineyard at the southern end of Margaret River. The vines grow just seven kilometres inland from the Indian Ocean.
In Latin the word rebus means ‘by things’; English speakers started using the word rebus for picture writing in the early 1600s.
The wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon with a small amount of Merlot. The handpicked parcels of fruit are fermented separately in one third new French oak barrels.
After maturing separately for 12 months the parcels are blended.
Deep crimson, Domaine Naturaliste Rebus Cabernet Sauvignon has powerful red berry flavours, silky texture and a lingering mineral finish. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
